Lab 1

In this lab I was tasked to make my first html page for Digital Design. I used many different types of coding such as how to add a title, how to add headings, In this lab I made 4 headings, h1,h2,h3 and h4. The point of this lab was to get the basics of web designing and just to introduce to the long concept of html coding that I would be introduced to. In the picture below it shows angle brackets with and without forward slashes. To have a forward slash means to close a code and to not have a forward slash means that the code has just begun. This is just some of the basic things I learned thanks to this lab.

In this lab I used the following programs: Text Edit and Safari, Text Edit was used to create the website through html coding and Safari was the Web Browser I used to view the Website.  Here is a list of all the tags I used in this lab :<html> <head> <body> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <p>.This lab was really relevant to Web Design because it really gave the fundamentals of web site building and if this code looks long to others, more is yet to come. The long paragraph in the code was basically me introducing myself to the www(worldwide web). This lab was done within the first week of school or so basically it was just a way to get me comfortable with coding.
