In this lab, I was tasked with making a website with my own name plate. To start off I would like to say that the programs I used for his program are text edit, safari, Photoshop and . The tags that I used are <html>, <head><body>, <title>, <center>, <img src= ">, <h1>,<h2> and <h3>. To do this lab I started by making a nameplate in Photoshop, it was straightforward, I made a rectangle with the rectangle tool and added text with the text tool. I also used Photoshop in order to customize my name plate. I used an option called bevel and emboss for my name plate such as many others.
This is indeed relevant to web design because a web designer is identified by his or her work. To say that a web designer is great at his or her job but he/she has nothing to identify themselves with as individual seems unheard of. I see myself in the future using these skills to identify myself as a professional web designer , my name plate will look way better and it will get the praise worthy of my skills at that point in my career.
